The Saviour’s Song to You (Poem)

Listen as the symphony of the King of King’s is sung

A melody of the Father's delight over you proclaimed
His rejoicing ceases not with our failings laid bare
The call from Love Himself, it continues unrestrained

“Oh Beloved child, you are forever mine
Find yourself engrafted in me the true vine
Your ways to me are fully known
Yet my mercies fail not over you to shine

Yes child, you are my shining one
And over my heart in peace you reside
Nothing can snatch you from my grasp
Nor separate you from my side

By my side dear child you will stay and see
The certainty of my love displayed
The permanent scar where I was pierced for you
A door to belonging in Perfect Love conveyed

Let my peace roar victory over raging storms in you
And let such divine peace sung be your only sound
Accepted are you oh prodigal child come home
What precious jewel you are that I have again found”

Undone I stand in awe of my saviour’s song of love
What response can I offer but such refrain as this
Thank you My saviour, my pearl of great price
For I, imperfect & broken, am met with divine love’s kiss
